Contents:
-New Heroes
-New Abilities
-New Items
-The Marauder NPC system including custom dice, custom rules, and Marauder-specific abilities.

Just like the base game, every game of Marauder is guaranteed to be unique and surprising.

Four New Classes, With New Attributes

Welcome the Monk, the Artificer, the Sorcerer and the Mystic! These four new classes offer new stat spreads as well two new attributes: Movement Speed and Attack Bonus. These four heroes have two fewer base stat points than the original heroes, but have permanent base buffs to movement speed or attack and/or defense! Use these new abilities to hone your dungeon escape.

And of course, there are a handful of new goals as well to go along with our new heroes.

New Items

It wouldn’t be a trip into the dungeon without loot, and Marauder adds four new items, one of which is cursed and takes full advantage of the new Marauder NPC system.

  • The Doppelgänger’s Trousers
  • The Malodorous Barrel
  • The Crystal Ball of Falem Felam
  • ?????

New Abilities

A whopping 10 new abilities come bundled Marauder! Some take the new enemy into account, while others are classic tradeoffs between buffs and nerfs.

  • Slippery
  • All Or Nothing
  • The Power of Friendship
  • Scent of Evil
  • …and more!

With new goals, 4 more heroes and 10 more abilities, there are over 14000 different combinations of heroes, goals and abilities. Can you play them all? (No, of course you can’t).

The Marauder

Of course, we can’t forget the star and namesake of the expansion: the Marauder itself!

The Marauder is an ancient spirit of vengeance, summoned to the dungeon by hapless adventurers and powered by a lust for blood. The Marauder moves about the dungeon of its own accord, and can even have abilities of its own, so don’t get complacent. Defeating the Marauder carries its own rewards, of course, so you would do well to vanquish it before it has the chance to do the same to you.
